I may be talking out my ass but heres my take on TDFX...
People spend a ton of time doing TA and wont even look at the companies 'story'.. most of the time they dont even know what the company sells. Most investors looked at TDFX as an over priced, one trick pony whos stock jumped to ridiculous levels because of higher than expected sales of their 3-d graphics chip. A little research would have uncovered that not only were the initial sales incredible, but this company has such a following in the gaming industry that its similar to Harley Davidsons loyalty. Half way thru the last quarter- a phone call to any computer reseller would have uncovered huge backorders and pre-payment programs that would deplete anything the company could pump out. A step further would show that the company who makes the chips for TDFX reported an incredible quarter thanks to TDFX during a time where semis are doing nothing but disappointing. CHeaper prices and great supply of chips was also unexpected gift for TDFX. All this and I didnt mention their secondary that provided a huge cash infusion and was accepted very well by the street despite the dilution.

sorry to babble. Im just glad it paid off this time. I listen religiously to Marks opinions on t/a but I just dont think it tells the whole story.

--- TDFX has another card due next month that will target the oem market- and THIS will provide the fuel to take this stock over $50 by year end. The downside is very limited.

Market looks like it could be ugly today. I tried to get a little more EPIQ yesterday but they never fill my orders at the bid. Im also going to be foolish and buy more FORE, unfortunatly FORES story isnt as crystal clear as TDFX but im still betting their going to beast the street by quite a bit next week and someone knows this.
