Gosh, guys why all the disappointment and surprise with Klac and Lrcx release today. Asia problems came home. The question is, for how long? We could all cash out now, and move our wealth to the Internet stocks, where Wall Street rewards for revenue growth.
Show me a internet stock that won't show revenue growth!
I still think we have time to make some profits here, before Wall Street demands PROFITS, also from the internet stocks.
The real hard call is, how long do we have??.

SGS-Thomson agrees with Intel and TI about recovery in second half of 1998.

''Looking ahead we continue to expect that the industry overcapacity should come into balance sometime in the second half of 1998. Based on the visibility we have today, we can reconfirm our earlier statement that 1998 should be a year of progressive financial and operating improvements for SGS-THOMSON, led by sales of new products, improved product mix, manufacturing efficiencies and price recovery once demand and capacity reach a better equilibrium,'' Mr. Pistorio concluded.
