Dear Jane:

The Lord will just not let me ignore Him. He is emphasizing to me over and over the importance of getting the power of His spirit 'out' of us and 'onto' us.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come 'upon' you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me,

St John 1: 12 But as many received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God even unto them that believe ( not in ) ON his name. ( Believe on-- power of salvation-- believe upon-- POW ! to the moon. )

St John 7: 38 He that believeth 'on me' ( not in me ) as the scripture hath said out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water ( and shall receive power from on high ) St John 12:44 He that believeth 'on me' believeth not on me but on Him that sent me.

Conclusion :

Chap 14 :12 verily verily I say unto you He that believeth "on me" the works that I do shall he do ALSO and GREATER works than these shall he do because I go to the father. ( I'm having church )'greater works we are going to do if we believe 'on Christ' .

15 vs 7 .If ye abide in me and my words abide in you ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you....praise God vs 11 these things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full.

In Christ, my dear dear sister in the Lord, whose friendship I treasure, and whose sweet words, and sometimes strong words, ring as truth in my ears, but always appreciated; but whose prayers I would and do desire above all else in cyber space save for the intercesion of Christ himself......gregor
