I see what you mean. They still have a number of stock companies, even Independence Bank, on the mutual list. They must not update too often. I'm from NJ and I noticed that there are 47 mutuals in Jersey, 7 in my area. Does anyone have access to SNL research? I would like to do a comparison th weed out a few banks. The FDIC site does give you the ability to compare ROA, percentage nonperforming loans etc. Perhaps the larger institutions would be more likely to do an IPO or to be take over candidates. Andrew
