I have an SEC question as I am not familiar with these rules

Someone told me that the 1.2 million shares that the "venture capitalists" wanted to sell on XCIT after hours could have been sold before the close if it was because of earnings...because they would have been able to see the earnings ahead of time and get out before the close....

thus something "fishy" about the rumor..

BUT...if they had access to the information about earnings PRIOR to the release...wouldnt they be governed by the insider trading rules..or something else at the very least...

Electric...you are sounding more and more like OJ every day..dont start using any more capital letters or I wont be able to tell you apart...

Electric,

>>>Did everyone see DAL???? I am telling you.. this one is gonna beat and announce a split...get in while the boarding is cheap, could be over 150 in a short time....<<<<<

As the airlines did last quarter, it appears that the earnings will be good again this quarter.

Checked the chart on the XAL and it appears that it may be forming a DOUBLE TOP right now. I believe that the earnings for most of the airlines will be out by next week. If the XAL does not break the DOUBLE TOP formation to the upside by the time all the earnings are out, one should proceed with caution. I am not saying it will or it won't, just a technical tid-bit to watch.

Also keep in mind the price of fuel.
