Gloom. DeBeers is to be watched no doubt. Jennings used to work for them so he knows what he is in for. And those kind of ownership problems are always all over and patent or inheritance claim in Canada. Record I heard was 43 relatives friends and interested parties all claiming 242 percent of a gold claim in Seskenika. When I see a patent now I put on my Nike airs and burn pavement in the opposite.
What is more depressing and has me thinking hard is the 464 (white) farmers killed since 1992 in S.A. I was looking at land down there and can get lots and now I am wondering why. Mandela visits the site of where a black infant was killed in an attack on a farm (2720 since 1992). Some black priest "wandered" onto a farm. Sure. Just out for a sunday walk. But I will bet Mandela didn't visit the grave of one white farmer. Pretty soon it will be trouble getting a ham sandwich in SA. It will never end will it? The blacks seem to forget that is how it all began. Their ancestors came south and the Boer farmers gave them food and work. I think the SA people had better bring their money here and we should elect some politicians who agree that mining at least will feed a few mouths where parkland is moot.
