Jock , Re:>>>Price / sales ratio <<<

It's my understanding that , when you evaluate a growth company you cannot put a PE ratio to work in your evaluation because of the lack of earnings .

This being said , the fund managers and others have been using the price / sales ratio in their evaluation to determine a fair price for the issue . This works in that they know that profits will follow in time . ( ie Yahoo , Aol etc, )

When you look at IOM you were right in that 1 1/2 times sales would be a fair price and that would put the price near $10 at this point in time .

What the market will do with IOM this morning with the price is anyones guess because it has a mind of it's own and not to beleaguer a point Iomega should not have split the stock back in Dec. as this has shaken the confidence of the shareholders .

Good Trading to You ,
