Hi Jeff, If you put in a market order, and there are other market orders that were registered before your, you will get the purchase price that is determined by the market maker at the time that yours is executed. The best way to prevent you order from being executed at a price higher than you are interested in paying is to place a limit price. I had the same problem because I didn't know how to record a limit price on the telephone that was not a fraction and I didn't realize that the price would move higher so quickly. Of course, if you place a limit price, you may never get the stock. I chased a stock higher with a higher and higher limit price, once, until I finally gave up and went elsewhere. If possible, it would be better to wait until after the market opens to place your order. After the market opens, all of the overnight market orders would have been filled and the price should settle down a bit. IMHO!! Good luck in your future investments and with ETPI. I am excited about the company. Scoobey
