It didn't like to be trading in the sub-$13 region very long. I chased a limit order up.

Interesting, I haven't seen a trade over 3,000 shares!!! This stock isn't traded by large players - at least now. The open certainly wasn't a panic selling situation by any stretch of the imagination. Rather it seemed to be a low-volume "wait-and-see" situation. Once it was clear that the stock wasn't selling off over missing by a penny, buyers moved in after about the first 20-25 minutes.

Seems that there would be a large difference in impressions between those who simply read the press release and those who listened to the conference call. Had I only read the press release, there wasn't anything exciting there - kind of matter-of-fact with little peripheral details. But I had a much better feel for things after the conf call.
