CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1998--NTN Communications, Inc., (AMEX:NTN) today issued a clarification to yesterday's release regarding the company's 1997 audit report, and a correction to misinformation reported by Dow Jones. In its audit report for the year ended December 31, 1997, KPMG Peat Marwick LLP issued an opinion without any qualification about the company's ability to continue as a going concern. NTN explained that the clean audit report was a result of the financial and operational improvements accomplished at NTN in the past year.
