Here's another bit of "3Dfx-only" news: ========== Final Fantasy Demo on June PC Gamer! Yes, it's true. The PlayStation hit is on its way to the PC, and you'll get your first look at this incredible roleplaying game in all its 3D accelerated glory in the June 1998 issue of PC Gamer. We got the exclusive on this one -- you won't see it anywhere else! The demo requires a 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics video card to run, and lets you explore the West Coral area with the three main characters, Cloud, Barrett, and Aeris. You can battle monsters while wielding super-powerful spells, like the Ifrit and Bahamut. Or just use your swords and guns to fight off the bad guys. Once you get to Coral, you can find out some history behind one of the main characters, Barrett. Look for it on stands starting early May. And remember, you saw it in PC Gamer first! ========= Chip
