Yeah, could be. There's probably enough momentum and internal pipeline visibility at SEBL for the June quarter - at merger time, there's often a sense of "let's get stuff in now, and we'll worry about next quarter, next quarter." Then, there's not enough energy spent on building the pipeline, and before you know it, it's cleaned out.

In the meantime,the short term window makes it a little easier for VNTV to get shortterm business, and they can spend more energy building the long term pipeline.

I was kind of surprised to learn of the relative low amount of money spent on R & D at SEBL - maybe this is why they bought SCOP. Tom is a sales & marketing guy, so it's easy to underestimate what you have to invest on an engineering team.
