Paganism really isn't anymore monolithic than Christianity. There are all kinds of Pagans just as there are all kinds of Christians, or Muslims, or Jews. And paganism isn't the absence of religion- it could be any of a hundred types of polytheism (Hinduism- for example, is a pagan religion), it could be the worship of nature. Paganism, as I think most people understand it, is any set of beliefs outside the orthodoxy of the monotheistic religions.

Ok---that was confusing--should have said "can be turned into by twisted human thinking". How's that?
Yes-it was wicked of me to suggest you and Del running off. I can't decide whether to blame it on Christianity or paganism...or just my own troublemaking streak.

You MUST try this. But it uses a box mix and I know you usually don't but this is worth it for the ease and simplicity and GOODNESS.

CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS

Bars:
1 pkg. Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil's Food Cake Mix
1 (21 oz) can cherry fruit pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs beaten
Stir all ingredients together and pour in greased and floured 9x13 pan. bake at 350 25-35 min.

Frosting:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup of milk
5 T. margarine or butter
6 squares (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

In small saucepan, combine sugar milk marg. Bring to boil. Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate til smooth. Pour and spread over warm bars. Cool before cutting.

I didn't even chop the chocolate. I just threw the squares in the pan and melted them. Don't know if it made a difference or not.
