Jeff: I respect your insight ( as well as your impressive web site www.parnasse.com) - being a former "galley hand of off shore Louisiana oil fields" you clearly have more knowledge than most of us, and your comments are music in my ears.

Just got off the phone with
inv. relations director for
TOSCO..their HQ 5 miles from me..
Says TOS has no contact with MIDL/arconenrgy
or DF-144..trial in CA will end in 6 months
without enabling legislation also indicated
that there are other ways to blend fuels to
EPA specs without oxygenates..like MTBE
ethanol based etc..cited coming engine design improvements
etc..

Asked him directly if he would name the
ethanol supplier for the trial and he
declined..said he would not and could not

Technically this is out of my sphere of
competence so...if anyone else
would like to try
1-203-977-1000 for TOSCO

Jeff
I think they are showing the need and the movement to regulate MTBE.
Tosco's is at the forefront of that movement,or at least grabbing the headlines. What better way to gain some interest than to piggy back on that release.Tosco DOES Know of Arconenergy. Now others know of them as well.Fuel Marketing (part of Arcon) is poised to enter this portion of the market,"a five year plan and the procurement of gasoline and marketing contracts to commence immediately is being sought with a Dallas company at present" They are building over 500 service locations at supermarkets and are 75% owned by a major foreign oil company. This product has been tested in vehicles by the inventor and sold in Tennessee. We know it works. DF-144 IS less expensive than all competitors due to the higher octane blend value achieved in the process. So, yes there are others out there, but we have the less expensive blending agent.
Gabard **** "we have the UNFAIR ADVANTAGE"!****
The next time we hear anything I would expect it will be the Stockholders meeting,Or that a contract has been signed.

Now is the time to decided who's going and who is not.
Arcon has a conference room that holds 57 to 100 people, Will this be big enough? Should they make other arrangements?
May 29th is the date I'm told. So lets post or "e"mail the totals arriba was looking into hotels if enough people are going maybe the same Hotel will be the place to hold the stockholders meeting.
Bottom line is we need numbers!
