SEEK? Robert, are you saying there is something wrong with SEEK trading 1.5X it's float yesterday (after taking into account the double count on the NAS)? Seems perfectly logical to me!!:)

RS, nothing wrong with that picture - very clear one of a feeding frenzy in highly speculative stocks. Is this what a major market top looks like? The air is certainly thin and, at this elevation, storms can blow in faster than you can say "Katmandu". Where'd that damn guide go? Is anyone else getting cold? Who has the coffee grinder?

Bob

Oh Robert, wellcome to the new world. A new universe is being fashioned through the internet. The horse and buggy days are quickly moving behind us all.

Go look at the Nasdaq top 10 stocks traded by dollar volume.
1. YHOO
2. SEEK
3. INTC
4. MSFT

What's wrong with this picture?

That is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

Combined with the fact that YHOO is worth more than what Westinghouse paid for CBS makes me think that something is a little bit wrong with this whole internet tulip mania!

Anybody know what Disney paid for ABC? I know these (CBS, ABC, etc. )are not Intergalactic Media Empires, but we need to start somewhere....

Rational investors will invest in MSFT. Soon MSFT will move into Yahoo's internet space. Do you think Yahoo can defend it's space as new competitors such as MSFT, NSCP...

In addition, can Yahoo defend it's position against XCIT, SEEK, LCOS? The CEO of XCIT all of a sudden has sooo much stock wealth to buy companies. And you see them buying internet related companies to attack Yahoo! OH-XXXX! What does this mean to Yahoo? OH-XXXX!2 What does this mean to XCIT cash/earnings?

Maybe they can issue more stock to raise cash... This will help all those stock junkies that can't get enough shares!
