Way off topic. freeus: Well let me try,since you don't want to read about it.<gg> In Christendom of old there was a place called Antioch (still is, i guess),and it is in present day Syria. The Patriarch is a the 'head' of Syrian Orthodox Church based in Antioch and hence the name 'Patriarch of Anitoch', one of the branches of Eastern Orthodox Christianity. Other orthodox churches i can think of at the moment is Greek Orthodox and the Russian Orthodox churches.So there, I hope this gives you some idea but if you need to know more (I don't know why you would,unless you want to be some sort of a religious scholar or something)then you would have to go back and read the links I provided earlier.
