GB, some slime was on CNBS saying who is to say the mkt PE is too high it could go to 40 or 50. At the moment Wall St does have an irresponsible FED on their side who either does not see or chooses to look the other way with respect to stk mkt speculation which,in my opinion, is worse than the 1920's. People love to blame the abuse of margin on the '29 crash when only 40% of customers had margin accounts. I would say the widespread use of options and the carry trade in the bond mkt involve far greater leverage than seen in the 20's. Mike

GB, Thanks for the URL. I wrote the lawyers a note asking why those of us who got screwed on our long puts and short stock were not included in the lawsuit. Heck, we were the ones who really got creamed by the fake eps reports. No <G> MB

those attorneys must have read mike's thread to get the basis for their suit. then again, they could have file 4 months ago if they'd been reading mike ;-)

hope steve isn't included. i remember this statement from steve the day before cpq said no earning... "cpq will make estimates..."

then he was told not to post. how convenient ;-)
