Here is Ohio it is getting warmer, but still cold and wet many days. Jake LOVES the cold, wet days of Spring--second only to the freezing, snowy days of winter. They joy on the face of a wet running dog is enough to get me out of my warm bed and beside him on the roads or trails. We have walked every day since I got him--sometimes that makes for a wet dog and wet human, but the benefit to us both is worth it.

Im sure Ella would be thrilled to have a romp, cold or no.
Try it.

Jake's mom.

Get a squall suit...

Peter,

If you don't already have one... invest in a nice "squall jacket" like people where when sailing... nice and comfortable, waterproof and warm... I find that the biggest deterrent to getting outside in rainy weather is lack of the right clothes to fend off the elements... These jackets don't cost all that much and they are so much nicer than stupid old raincoats, etc... Hmmmm... wonder if they make "squall jackets" for canines... (-:
