It seems unlikely that there might be any mergers at this time.

The industry is growing and rapidly at that. I don't hear of significant excess capacity. There may be other reasons for merging but I don't see any as compelling. If they need the extra capacity its cheaper to build another factory than buy an ECM whose stock trades at several multiples of book value.
