Rhet: Thanks for that uunet info. I will call them now.

I am wondering when Megan & Co will change S&P rating on CPQ:

Headline: Compaq (NYSE:CPQ) named in shareholder lawsuit

======================================================================
NEW YORK, April 17 (Reuters) - Compaq Computer Corp. was
named in a shareholders' lawsuit charging the PC maker with
making misleading statements about inventory levels that caused
it to report higher earnings and inflate its stock price.
The suit was filed by the law firm Wolf Haldenstein Adler
Freeman & Herz LLP of New York in the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of Texas on Thursday, April 16.
The plaintiffs' law firm, which is requesting class-action
status for the complaint, seeks other potential plaintiffs who
bought Compaq stock between July 10, 1997, and March 6, 1998.

All: Before anyone gets too excited about DSL, I just talked to UUNet, who says they'd like to see Rhet's letter. The cost is $1000 a month!

Thanks rhet,

But, I've got all the numbers printed out. Some of the ones I've got they don't list online anymore, but they still work. No local access here in Helena, hence the 800 number usage.

I wish I had bought ELNK back when I printed these numbers. I intended to, but backed down because it was at 18 plus instead of the 16 plus at the time it caught my attention. Bought AAPL at 20 1/8 instead. This was back in November. December saw me with near margin call while ELNK was up to 25. Jan. saw me just breaking even with ELNK at 35+.

The short of it is that the $4k profit in Feb. & Mar. on AAPL was at the cost of a $50k profit on ELNK.

That's what makes this fun. Win a little, or win a lot, but always try to win if at all possible.

Happy AAPL bS,
HerbVic
