I am in precisely that situation, and but for the fact that I can't currently get cable modem, would in a heart beat. xDSL means another phone line, whereas connect charges are part of the monthly fee already. Now xDSL for 19.95/mo and then it's back in the game, but I have heard nothing like that for monthly quotes.
