Sig, we should focus on the company's performance as a motivator for increases in the price of the stock; not mutual fund inflows. This seems to me to be a house of cards (or balloon that will pop).

If you were just musing about m funds, just disregard this post.

Sig,

Long time no see. I'm a little bit in the Y2k-mode lately.
Following the news-items about this subject makes me a bigger
(mid-term) bear than Hank & Mike & Candlestick together.
Recently the Gartner-group raised estimated total cost of
Y2k from 600 billion to 4 trillion. Hmmm.

But now about Dell, today a message was posted on a dutch
newsgroup that Tulip (our national PC-pride who's losses
are increasing quarter after quarter) owns the most modern
plant of the world. That lightened up the fire.
I responded and explained that their is only one nr. 1.

I more and more follow dutch newsgroups. My god, are these
guys stupid or what. Najib or what's his name would be
an expert compared the nonsense the dutch posts.

Anyhow, have a nice weekend. (And beware for Y2k, it will
sure bring the market down sooner or later).

Paul
