Trader, I am very new on the internet. You guys seem to be very sophisticated as you are able to get someone's e-mail address through the system. I am not able to do that. If you're a Parker relative then we are related my friend. I must say I'm sorry for not answering early - my system was down. The Price house is painted in Alii yellow and red. His sons went to Roosevelt School so perhaps Mr.Price was merely using those colors because he liked Roosevelt. I know for damn sure that Mr. Price didn't raise any fools. By no means was the Price family considered as the "Lordships" of Kaaawa. People like your family and mine were the Lordships. The Price house for us kids was a place of sanctuary and refuge. Remember they leased their land from the Kualoa Morgans. Old names on my fathers side of Kaneohe are Akona,Halualani,Jones,Rowan(Akebono),McCabe - Kea, Lono. On my moms side of Kaaawa are Simeona,Aweau,Padeken,Kawelo, lindsey,Jones,Domingo. Enough family talk. I personnally am not impressed with Mr. Hite. I do not know the man. Tommy tells me he's ok and I believe him. He appears to be as much of an amature as I am in using this medium. I'm an assistant prof. at UH/KCC. I teach Emergency Medical Services and know very little about computers. My views are those of a lay person. I have worked with Tommy on his software for approx. 7 years. It is not a joke-it runs. One of the biggest warehousers in Hawaii is running on his system. His system replaced a $850,000 wang system. Tommy did the work because his brother asked him as a favor. This also gave him an opportunity to come back to Hawaii from Caif. every other week to see his mother who became ill not too long after Mr. Price died. Tommy asked me to join his team and work for him teaching people about his software. It puzzled me as he insisted that someone who new nothing about computers could teach it better than someone who worked with them daily. Over time I learned that a computer basically does only a few simple things create, add, delete, retrieve and inquire. It is merely a big file system. His entire software is written in assembler language. He has hundreds of applications in the program- about 40 years worth. His program works like a word processor program. I have spoken to many techies and I have to say that none of them have let me finish what I'm saying before they say it can't be done. I boarded at UH with Tommy. I was their when his father picked him up and took him to the Army recruiting station. Yes he did think that he was going to be working with Intercontinetal Ballistic Missles(ICBM). He actually wanted to be a paratrooper, however, he did relate to me that working with missles was and important job. In those days we spent a lot of time boozing and surfing. In his early 20's he was stationed at Fort Shafter in payroll. He became irritated by the fact that he had to know so many different languages as the goverment always bought many different computers. Young Tom thought to himself maybe I can write a program to work on all of the different computers and he did. Being a typical genius he thought to himself this must really be a fluke cause if it can work the professors in school would have taught it to us. Through my readings I believe Tommy was the first to stumble on "Object Technology." I read a whitepaper in 1992 that described what I believe I learned by being exposed to Tommy's software. It went on to say that this new way of doing things was 80% psycological and 20% technical. My physicist friend told me that Tom's things looks similar to what Java used. Hope I can help clear up some of the thoughts and provoke more thoughts about Veronex. My wife and I have invested the entire farm with Tom Price. We are in it for the long hall which is right around the corner. Once this starts rolling it won't stop. Yahoo. Aloha.
