Welcome to the real world. The view from inside a company is always different than from outside a company. There is always room for (disgruntled) interpretation of the various shades of gray that comprise the reality of business competition. I used to feel the same way when I worked for IBM (another company that engendered strong love/hate feelings in its heyday and that attracted DoJ attention more than once). If you judge companies by some artificial standard of perfection you'll find none that stand up. It has little to do with the investment merits of a stock.
