Valueman, thank you kindly: that un-muddies the waters a whole lot. (You did hear the pregnant 'but' coming didn't you?) . .. . Data compression I understand, at least conceptually. That means I'm still in the pipe business but I'm 'value adding' by shoving data thru the pipes in a manner more expeditious for my transponder lessee. O.K. Not leasing out the transponder for the life of a sat at a flat rate, but keeping some 'times' off the market to lease out at higher prime time rents on an expeditious basis. O.K. Helping ABC et. al. with news gathering? Not okay, it's better than All Star Wrestling, but you can't mean that LOR employees are involved in the news business. The point is that I'd love to hear more about these services when you have a chance, and I wish that the LOR Annual Report had employed greater clarity and provided more detail--or is that competitive info?
