Nick,

Where were you at 41? That was the time for this nonsense, not when it is selling at 2.5x last years revenues, and what may be 20x this years e, or even 15x if it dips to 15.

I had a moron today tell me, "C.D., wow! That is risky now isn't it?"

Is it, NOW? Nick, it is a better deal at 17-20 than 41, right?

Inquiring minds want to know if it is a steal at this price. If all they did was pull an AOL with their expenses, we will all be sorry we didn't sell everything to buy shares.

We will be wise to weed through the reports cautiously. Any wiff of big, bad news to come and this company is dead. If Silverman is simply trying to take over full control of this company, so he sees a silver lining in this fall, new investors will be rewarded.

If they wanted a sub-standard product, they could drop the valuable franchise names that CD holds, and name the hotel under their own names ! However, the fact that they won't tells me they have a valuable franchise. Owning a good franchise is like having a sort of monopoly. It give you pricing power, etc.

CD ended up quite strong @ $ 21.19b $ 21.25 ask. I'm up over 100% for the 1Q of 1998 and it looks Iike I will probably add another 100% this quarter (I hope, thanks in part to CD).
