Rocky, $9 million to Microsoft is like $50 for one of us.
They have around 10 Billion in cash and routinely invest
in start-up possibilities. You must remember that it is
only useful as a read-only device, so a fast/cheap read-write
device is still necessary.

Rocky - explain again why you view this OROM as a threat to Clik!. As I understand it, OROM being Read Only Memory, will be suited for software distribution, but not suited for the market that Clik! is going after, namely any application where you are looking to input and save data (i.e. digital photography).

I don't see the connection.

Rocky wins Iomaniac award!

With his 28 posts in the past 24 hours, CONGRATULATIONS!

Seems to me you are the 'maniac' when it comes to IOM. Let's see, you have your own PERSONAL IOM thread, you list IOM in your SI profile, yep, I'd say you qualify as the prototypical Iomaniac that your leader Herb 'Just plain Maniac' Greenberg always blathers about on TSC.

Man, you gotta be one nervous short, where's the big tank?

Jack,
hardly waiting for post #29 in 24 hours =:-O
