Taurus; To be honest on equities I'm more a trader than an investor, and I don't kid myself about taht..this has mostly taken the place
of my driving 60 miles to the dog track. <G>

I do become an investor if a stock turns against me <G> often
I double down..even triple down at times..I do have a good
track record. My one short coming is I often tend to sell to fast,
but I very seldom get burned, as I do look a thing over fairly
good before I go in. The way I look at stocks is much like a
handicapper and not as conventional as most I've found on SI.
I doubt I hang in on Day or any gold stock for any big pay off.
I'm not enough of a gold bug for that.

Most of my money stays in Bonds, or local real estate that I
can size up for myself. If I were a bit younger I would get
into the bottled water business, right here where I live there
is a good market , as all the local water went to surface
water that is YUK ! But we have very good water strata from
200 to 400 ft..and I can filter that to were it's like spring
fresh. I'm still rolling the idea around in my head, I have
the land were they can't restrict me from drilling , as they
have most of the county. But getting the health permits and such may
be a hassel as the powers that be down here are a bunch of
power hungry demagogues who work every angle they can think of.
The job wouldn't be so much but fighting the local buracrates
might be more than I want to take on at my age.

Big money in water and garbage..( more than gold ) but most of
it's controled by racketeers.
