I wonder what will bring the volume back up.

I really don't know all you have seen in the press is Yahoo!, Lycos, Seek, Excite....I actually think a bunch of people came into these things for the first time not understanding fully what it is that they provide to the internet. After Excite came in negative, it popped the bubble even though they beat estimates. Good stocks all of them long term....but I think the reaction was the result of ignorance..first on the buy side then on the sell...too hot for me.

I expect the hunt will be on for companies doing business on the internet that are actually making money. This would be that exception. After buying some air, I expect they might be interested in some eps.

Remember this March 9th?

Atlanta Internet Bank's Deposits up Nearly 70% This Year to $100 Million

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Internet Bank, (Nasdaq: NTBK) (AIB), Member FDIC, the Internet's leading online financial services provider, has reached several corporate and industry milestones. Customer deposits have grown almost 70% since January, to over $100 million. AIB has also just added the 7,000th customer.

Well here's the latest numbers I can find......4/13/98...Published in a paper rag, called Inter@ctive week by Ziff Davis...somehow filling out something on the internet...I keep getting this free publication sent to me each week....latest numbers.......

"Atlanta Internet Bank: Opened for business in late 1996. Now boasts 9,000 customers and $135 million in deposits. Went public in July 1997 under parent company NetBank at $12. Shares reached a high last week of $30."

Note they hit 30 on 4/3/98........so they grew 2000 Customers almost 30% and 35 million or 35% in deposits in March.....that 1% a day crap!

That guy should have put a target of $40 on this thing instead of $30.....guess he doesn't understand the power of a Button on the Internet....I still say they will hit $50....before my Birthday in September.
