Moonray: There were some great stats on LSI's positioning in the various subsegments in the semi industry in a recent publication I came across on the web recently. Can't find those but check this out: techweb.com a top 5 supplier in the LAN and ATM arena. Both high value added (esp. the latter) so this bodes well. Let the littler companies do the modem ICs - in any business the more value added and integrated the better your margins the happier the customer paradoxically because you can bet he is happy with time to market, lower overall system cost etc. Shane.
