To thread:

It sure is difficult not to respond in due kind to those of the assymetric holigistics persuasion (a.hole's) who are sure of the future, but XCIT traditionally (IMO) has a pullback after earnings announcements, which is followed by a steady progression upward.

Note that the "official" pundits are still recommending purchase of "engines."

If you are a trader, good luck to you....If you are an investor, be assured that there is much more before this story is finished!

Long and happily looking to the future!

... in the real world even 60% in three weeks is way to much ....stinks of mania...

Granted. I agree. My point was that we still had a way to go to believe in a POP.

... page views are not currency ...
But they are. Page views directly correspond to ad dollars. More ad dollars means more revenue. More revenue means future profitiblility is on target (ahead of target due to the numbers reported). Trading on future profitability may be shaky, but it worked in the long run for AOL investors.

... the future is still more losses and no profits ...
No, the future is predicted to be profits in 2 quarters. If Excite misses that, THEN there will be hell to pay.
