Sam, I am not serious. I hate lawsuits and the class usually gets diddy squat while the lawyers collect fat fees. I just feel put upon that nobody ever takes up the fight for my rights. <G>

I think that they do not file lawsuits for put buyers or short sellers because we are considered vile critters of the night. A jury would not sympathize with such folks. Can't you see it right now:

"And Mr. Burke, once you buy puts on Compaq, what is the best thing that can happen to the company?"

"The stock could go to zero."

"And 1000s of good people, decent folks like the scum of the Earth who were to dumb to weasel out of jury duty, would lose their jobs and face financial ruin. Sir, I am disgusted to be of the same species as you." <G>

Later, "Has the jury reached a verdict?"

"Yes, your Honor, we rule in favor of the defendant and want this Burke creep castrated and lethally injected and forced to share a cell with Robert Downey Jr. and Christian Slater."
