Perry, Only kidding!!! I am not really sure what LU's pe really is. My charting software indicates their pe as of 12/97 is 190 and this may very well be outdated. The point is that this whole market is overvalued when you apply the OLD formulas. The problem is that RATIONAL ANALYSIS does not apply and there are many many stocks that should be selling for much less yet they continue going up and IMHO will continue; which means IMHO MSFT's value (according to the market) has no bearing on PE!
