Why do you all think that Quicken for the Mac has been discontinued?

From MacWeek:
<http://www.zdnet.com/macweek/mw_1215/nw_quicken.html>

|> Intuit stops developing Quicken for the Mac
|>
|> By Clifford Colby (<clifford_colby@macweek.com>)
|>
|> Intuit Inc. announced today that it was ending development of
|> the Mac version of Quicken.
|>
|> Intuit spokesman Adam Samuels said the company halted work
|> because sales for the Mac version have declined over the past
|> three years.
|>
|> The company said the last Mac version of its popular personal
|> finance software is Quicken 98, released last fall (see
|> story). Intuit said it will continue to sell and support
|> Quicken 98 for the Mac.
|>
|> Samuels said the company will reassign its Mac engineers to
|> its Web site. Through Quicken 98, users can access up-to-date
|> financial information on Intuit sites.
|>
|> Samuels said the decision does not affect MacInTax, the
|> company's tax-preparation software for the Mac. Samuels said
|> MacInTax sales continue to grow, and Intuit intends to release
|> a new version this fall. The next version of Quicken for
|> Windows is also expected in the fall. Intuit Inc. of Menlo
|> Park, Calif., can be reached at (415) 944-6000 or (800)
|> 446-8848; fax (415) 322-1013; <www.intuit.com>.

If you surprise about this little news, you will have lots more to
surprise at. In this competitive world you just can't strive alone.
What Jobs is doing is really outdated, he is trying to supress all
competition and prosper. No competition, no progress, keep this in
mind, you'll find AAPL is going nowhere but down.
