Pigboy - Re: "I thought that you may have mentioned here that D1B Might be using the .25 process on some chips for Intel?"

I don't know about 0.25 micron production in D1B. They are busy putting the final touches on the 0.18 micron process.

As for FAB 18 in Israel, it will be coming on stream later that Fab 14. In fact, I think Fab 14 may be starting up in May (next month). I think Fab 18 won't be ready to go until late this year or early next year. Remember - it got caught in a "re-alignment" - originally set to be a Flash fab, it was switched last year to be a "Logic" fab - meaning Microprocessors.

Earlier this year, there were strong indications that Fab 18 was set to be a 0.18 micron fab from the get-go, meaning it would support Merced and other new 0.18 micron products.

I don't know if this has changed.
