You are assuming that NSCP is the market. I said SNCP benefits by splintering the market, not necessarily its own market. MSFT is encroaching dominant market share very soon, if it is not there already. This is further exacerbated by Win 98/NT4/5. Therefore IE either is or will be the defacto browser standard. It is in NSCP's best interest to splinter this defacto standard as completely as possible.
