New e-commerce play!

Check this one out TLindt: ICGN

ICC Technologies is an air conditioning company with some neat proprietary technology which they sold off for about $20 mil. Their plan was to aquire other compatible AC companies to complement their business. I noticed that their stock price almost doubled last Thursday from 2.25 to 4.25! So what did they buy? A friggin web design company!

They bought Rare Medium, a privately held, PROFITABLE, web design company with a most impressive list of big corporate clients. Projected 98 revenues of 10 mil with 2.5 mil profits! How many internet commerce companies are profitable? This one is already there and growing fast.

ICGN has brought a profitable well respected internet company public overnight. Average daily volume in ICGN has gone from about 50 thousand to about 1mil. The last couple of days lots of dazed investors have been cashing in on their new found bounty. I was hoping for the price to settle down more on Friday but it didn't so I went back in. It closed up on strong volume so it looks like it's headed for a break out as the story gets the press and the analysts figure out what just happened.

Check out their website. RareMedium.com. Read the interview conference call page. Better yet, hear it. Most impressive. This company knows how to build profitable web sites for their big corporate clients.

ICC paid $45 mil in cash, stock, and debt for Rare Medium. That's only 4.5 times projected 98 sales! That's a steal for an internet company, especially a profitable one.

TLindt, A Quick Question...

How many shares of SEEK do we now have remaining?

I mean, you wouldn't clear me out would you... would you...?

After all, it's gonna be back to 45 by mid-week, he thinks,
he prays, actually he just thinks, he saves praying for more
important matters. And, in any case, he's about half as interested
as he was before Friday.

Just checking...

I suppose one fine afternoon I will wake up from my nap and
find that the Red Light District is no more... eek... argh...

Best Regards,

c m

TLindt,

How are you going to handle the bookkeeping within the SI format.
It appears when you redeploy the funds that you will get a fictitious
initial cost. Will you just carry that as reinvested capital gain off line?
