Ronald, There isn't any easy way to determine growth, one can just estimate it. Since growth changes over time in a continuous way, a method that determines the growth at varying points in time is desireable. That is what my method does. It determines the growth at the present time (or any other time). The "traditional method" assesses an average growth over a larger period of time. This is not as accurate in measuring growth at the present time. I don't know how else I can explain this. Regards
