Different PR spin:

A number of you seem to think companies want to keep potential Y2k remediations secret. Why? The word is out that Y2k is the great bug-a-boo of our time. Why wouldn't a company want to reassure its clients & investors that its on top of things?
As to the status of the market, I don't know what the TAVA beta is, but I feel that TAVA is one of the few plays that could do nicely in a down market. Institutionals and other investors are going to seek out companies that have a franchise that will be unaffected by the vagaries of the economy and the market. TAVA is such a company. Y2k projects MUST go forward!
As for PR, I think of TAVA in the same way as a rising movie star. No matter how talented, its PR that drives the 'product' whether its acting or Y2k remediation. I still think Scott needs to re-release the points of Friday's press statement that got virtually no coverage.

Kal, it's my understanding from a friend of mind that's a full time trader, and former broker as well as others that when a stock gaps up like TAVA did Friday and leaves a gap from the last sale on Thursday and the open on Friday it USUALLY will come back and fill the gap at some time. No one can give me a real reason for this but as I said it usually happens. Look at
fast.quote.com
Then is the box that says SYM put in the Symbol AAPL (Apple Computer),
in the time set, set for 30 Min. and you will see and example of what I am talking about. This site is great, you can click on chart, top ten, any of the market watches or the scrolling trades and get a different view with bid and ask Etc.
Take Care and let me know what you think.
