Vepoc and All,

Compare Bay's products introduced in the last year, compared to the competitors. Notice also that Bay is ADDING value to the networking market, not following the market as Cisco does.

Pioneering markets has draw backs, sometimes products are a flop, sometimes it takes a longer time to accept (Accelar), and sometimes it is an instant hit (350T).

Bay pioneered the workgroup switch market (BayStack 350T).
Ditto to the Routing Switch Market (Accelar).
Ditto to the Extranet Switch Market (New Oak).
Ditto to the Voice gateway product (the upcoming 4000).

A whole bunch of other enhancements to older products. All of the above will eventually PAYBACK. It has to. All this in one year, with a demoralized Bay. I say KUDOS to Bay!!!

I'd like the Cisco bigots, who lurk on this thread, to show us what Cisco did the past year. (Of course they'll tell us how Chambers duped the analysts, set expectations low, and beat it and the stock went up, Eventualy the street will realize this, and it will be PAYBACK time for Cisco too.)
