All Internet bulls and bears must read this week's Barron's article entitled "Tulip Time."

Too bad this thread is nothing more than a therapy session for the victims of two successful marketing campaigns.

Is there a MENSA SI? Anyone?

Uh, Andrew, as Mr. Subtlety is Futile, also self claimer of all ad hominem attacks around here, who tends to be particularly resentful about mental health cracks, I got to ask what exactly you think this thread ought to be? Aside from the gratuitous bit at the end, good post.

Cheers, Dan.

>>>Do you think they're going to continue to cram that money into the tired old Dogs forever?<<<

True enough.

>>>Too bad this thread is nothing more than a therapy session for the victims of two successful marketing campaigns.<<<

As it's title implies, this is a forum for argument. I like it better than the forums for non-stop tout chatter.

>>>Is there a MENSA SI? Anyone?<<<

Speaking of ongoing therapy sessions, MENSA is a great one. The main interest of half the members seems to be S&M, not investing. An old CIA project gone awry. (Awry, unless it's objective was to throw a net over potential malcontents who were too clever for their own good. In which case it's netted maybe 1% of them :-)

There is no MENSA investment newsgroup or thread that I am aware of. Check www.mensa.org.

Wilkommen,
Chaz

Andy,

Yet, you feel compelled to continue posting here; interesting. Perhaps it is that you derive something of value from these posts. Personally I enjoy the entertainment value of it all and who could miss even a week of Reggie's charming retorts.

MENSA members should understand the mathematics of the gambling industry and hence would never play the market. Invest in the firms that run the house (market) and you'll always win. Even when people lose they have to pay the fees.

Cheers,

Norm
