CR,

I can't help with the technical stuff, but I

think you are right about positive statements.

I have not witnessed any hype from this company

and I don't expect any. I would enjoy some

reassuring remarks. However, the fact that

management converted 2.2 million options is

a gesture of confidence in my book. As for

earnings, history tells all. DOn't hold

your breathe for a surprise from TRIBY.

97 3Q $5.2 Million Revs $351,000 Profit

97 4Q $4.5 Million Revs $387,000 Profit

My Guess with more shares out standing:

98 1Q $5.5 Million Revs $475,000 Profit

or about .0225 per share. That would

would be a record for TRIBY. I just

don't think they can make enough money

to out-pace their creation of new shares.

OUT

Chinmoy Roy:
Triby has always been conservative on the hype, but that's good. It's allowed me and you to buy in at record lows. I don't expect triby mgmt to hype their stock. That's not their style. I do expect them to continue their strategic good growth which they have been great at. For a comparison I recommend you look at bioi, a somewhat similar company. See the post at Message 4093052 Bioi's a micro cap biotech, and it jumped from $2 to $12 and has sat at about $6 for the past 12 mos before rising to $8 in the past week. (FYI, I do hold a position in bioi). I think there are favorable comparisons to be made, although bioi's management has appeared to be uninspired in the past year. Only lately did they make some key mgmt change which prompted the rise.

I fully expect triby to make the big move and have full confidence that this management will make the right choices.

[ Technical Picture ]

CR,

On 4/14/98 (Tuesday of last week), TRIBY bounced off three key support levels simultaneously: the short term up trend line, the 50 dma, and the 89 dma. In hindsight, it is not surprising to see the subsequent strength the issue faced, but note that the advance did occur on relatively lower volume. The stock price will continue to be constrained to the upside by the upper Bollinger Band.

Near term, the price may be approaching overbought levels.

On a trend following basis, TRIBY continues to remain attractive, and has bullish characteristics.

There will be some resistance from the 2.75 range.

Regards,

Rainier
