Bleeker-

Thanks for posting Lin's comments. I was glad to hear positive comments on the bowling and bass fishing games; both are games where the competition is not so intense and supports high margins. I read recently that there are twice as many fisherman as golfers in the U.S. They spend over 10 billion a year on their sport. Deerslayer has done well.

I missed Friday's dip. Congratulations to those that averaged up.

Andrew

Bleeker, thanks for posting your notes.

Various MF board channel checks indicate that Broken Sword is selling very well. As we might have expected, Ray Tracers is starting to be marked down to $39.99. Also, unless the store sent copies back, one CompUSA seems to have moved through its initial 52 copy order of MacPax.

Here's another by-permission-of-author MF repost, summing up the WCW chart positions for the quarter:

1Q rundown

Rank AVG Retail Price

--------------Jan Feb March Jan Feb March

WCW NITRO------2 4 7 --- $47 $45 $43

WCW vs. NWO---13 11 13 $62 $61 $61

Nice to see avg retail price remain pretty
constant....I wonder how many will sell when
THQ cuts the price (less margin, I understand,
but still impressive numbers).

My new estimate is .76

Man, how about some WYSIWYG on SI? Formatting is hell.
