great post. i do have faith that clinton and co. will change their mind--they have in the past been very export oriented. i agree that the sell-off is a chance to add.

as far as i know sdti and neta are the industry leaders. any foreign companies that you know of that are strong in this sector?

do you own any security co. besides sdti. i also own neta.

Let's not get too hopeful on this front. never underestimate how much objection to strong encryption could be fostered by the various big brother agencies of our government.

It would be great news if we make progress in this area, but unfortunately, the talent base of encryption development is building momentum overseas. The U.S. and SDTI may lose the competitive advantage unless it's resolved soon. Don't hold your breath.
