Robert, I took the time and went back and did OBV the old fashioned way. With red and blue ballpoint pens and computations by addition and subtraction on lined paper. In a earlier post you mentioned MACD improvement and it showed up in OBV. OBV topped out on March 16 and trended down until April 1. Now with the 1st qtr. ending on March 31 and OBV starting to go up on April 2nd I am wondering if we are seeing some serious fund buying. I started my volume charts on Dec 4 thru Apr. 18, did the field trends and recorded a volume and price breakout on a first up in a rising field trend on April 16. This is usually quite bullish. A short term trader would usually sell into the volume and price spike due to the 20% rise in price in five days but I am looking at the bigger picture, so I'll stay in..Hope I am not being blinded by sugar plum visions...
