>>but if it hits 30, I would think it's a screaming buy...with a close stop. It has hit 30 three times since Dec. and bounced off of it quickly, a good floor.<<

But it has hit 36 3 times too and failed to take it out. One of the problems with the sector is they are reluctant to say anything good or bad. But QNTM recieved 3 new contracts for their DLT stuff and JBIL makes em. So its also hard to figure out how they are doing unless you go from the heads to the leads to the suspensions to the platters to the screws and nuts. Also there is talk of SCI and JBIL merging, not buyouts. Almost like IOM and SYQT merging :). Yea VVUS got an offer for $15 buyout. I think that didnt get much notice since that would barely pay for the approval of 1 drug comming out next year.

Hi Susan. Can you or anyone on this thread comment on the importance of an analyst upgrade prior to earnings (i.e. within several weeks/ days) and whether this is an indication that the company will meet or exceed its number?

Thanks, K
