RE: stockholder meeting & ARM IPO
I think you're right. Hehe..so I guess Megan Graham-Hackett won't be able to attend the meeting no matter how hard she tries.

As for Apple's holding in ARM, I've gathering info on the subject. But it looks like we may need the help of an accountant to figure out exactly what ARM's IPO will mean to AAPL. Perhaps "pebblehead" from Yahoo's AAPL board can help us out.

Some background...
ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) was formed in 1990 by Acorn, Apple and VSLI.
Acorn and Apple each had a 43% stake in ARM at that time.
ARM chips were manufactured by DEC..later that right was transferred to Intel as a result of the recent Alpha agreement between DEC and INTC.
I vaguely remember that Apple's initial investment was around $17 million (I could be way off)
Apple currently holds 38% of ARM
Acorn and Apple each sold 16.7% of their holding during the IPO.
After last week's IPO ARM is currently valued at about $739 million.
So I guess Apple's holding is worth about $250-280 mil?

Eric
