>>Usually I have to go by the change in the bid/ask spread mmediately after the sale for about 8-20 ticks depending on how many mm's are moving it. <<

?? And What happens?

>>Also, I do have some sources, but we won't go into that...<<

Is that how you got a few picks in the above list? I am easily impressed and if someone has 1 in the list I can understand but to get so many.. Well.. it does make you wonder dont you think?

ps yes, some were picks of others.. And with 10000 stocks the chances of picking them are exponential to the amount of money in your closet as well as inversely proportinal to the number of them in the picks.

LS and all, in an effort to improve my stock trading performance,
I'm trying to learn to scan stocks to buy, wondering if you would critique my methods. So far I am using p/e relative to growth rate; book value; eps and no. of quarters of increasing eps; hoping to learn to use MACD as well as the other technical indicators. I have picked up a couple of books on the technical analysis and am trying to read them in my spare (?) time.
I think sometimes I buy the right stocks but at the wrong time and without enough knowledge to give me the patience to hold them til they give positive returns.
HELP!!

Thanks so much for all you ALL do for this forum.
