Hi Wiesia, Great to see you here again. I hope the teaching is going well. Here's a little feedback to your comments.<It is a public forum after all and as it is bad enough to make really stupid mistakes trading, it does require some courage to have them posted on SI for everyone to see.> The only time a trade is stupid is when you make it without regard for your own strategy or rules. It isn't fun to lose money, but it's completely unrealistic to expect every trade to be profitable. Sometimes you sell just before a major move up (e.g. I sold the Z's AAC last week just before it went up 28%). Was I stupid for selling it? No, because the stock was trading near resistance and had gone nowhere for 2 months. There was absolutely no way to see that move coming and quite frankly if anybody wants to call me stupid for selling it, they can bite my you know what LOL. I got stopped out of the Z's INTC a couple of weeks ago. The stock declined another buck and a half and then rallied strongly. Was I stupid to have a stop in? No, because it broke support and I followed my strategy of selling when a stock breaks support if the next support level is too far down. The only thing stupid about my trade on INTC is that I didn't buy it back when it came inside the bollinger bands like I said we should do. Another reason to post here is to get a second opinion. Yes, it's your money and you should do what you want, but then again somebody might see something that you missed. Objective opinions never hurt. I hope you will share your ideas with us. And if you want feedback, please don't hesitate to ask. Best of luck in your trading, Dan PS to Ron: LOL
