Hi Scotchman,

I think what happened is that TKE kept a "straight up 10% interest" (ie They pay 10% of costs, and have a 10% interest). But, they also "farmed out a 40% interest" (Others pay 40% of the well cost, Tusk gets 20% interest after payout). So, the end effect is that TKE will have 30% interest after payout.

And, perhaps the other company that you refer to is in fact Loon Energy (LEY on ASE). Loon holds a small interest (10/5??) in the Strachan play and TKE has a shareholding in LEY. So,in essence, I guess TKE holds more than 30% interest in the play, direct and indirect. That is my understanding in any event.
